Worcestershire Martial Arts athletes delivered an exceptional performance at the ITF England National Championships, showcasing not only technical excellence but the strength of our training culture across all age groups.
With a relatively small team, WMA athletes secured multiple podium finishes across sparring, patterns, and special technique—demonstrating versatility, composure under pressure, and high-level preparation.
Leading the results was Theo Farmer, who stood out as WMA’s Best Overall Student of the competition. Theo secured:
1st Place – Sparring
1st Place – Special Technique
2nd Place – Patterns
This all-round performance reflects the standard we expect—technical skill, adaptability, and the ability to perform across multiple disciplines.
Other standout performances included:
Oscar Farmer – 1st in Sparring, 2nd in Special Technique
Sebastian Hodgetts – 1st in Sparring, 3rd in Patterns
Ben Starkey – Double silver medallist
Flynn Lane-Griffin – Silver in Sparring
Felix Hodgetts – Strong top-4 finishes in both divisions
These results are a reflection of consistent training, high standards, and a culture built around improvement—not shortcuts.
At WMA, athletes are developed properly—from foundations through to competition performance. This is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
If you’re looking for a martial arts school that develops confident, capable athletes—not just participants—this is where it starts.
