“At WMA, being gay has never been a barrier. From the first class, I felt welcome and safe. Coming out isn’t a one-time event—it happens every time you meet someone new. But here, I’ve always felt able to be myself. The culture of respect isn’t just spoken—it’s lived. If you’re LGBT+ and nervous about joining a martial arts club, I understand. But I also know places like WMA exist, where inclusion is real.
