GTI National Open 2025 Results

On 14th September 2025, the Worcestershire Martial Arts team travelled to Leisure at Cheltenham for the GTI National Open (Global Taekwondo International) — a major event attracting competitors from across the country.


Our athletes demonstrated outstanding skill, discipline, and sportsmanship across both patterns and sparring divisions, bringing home an impressive collection of medals.





🥇 Gold Medal

  • Sally Gleaves – 1st place, P.30A Patterns (18–39 years, Female, 4th Dan+)


🥈 Silver Medals

  • Reuben Bramhall – 2nd place, P.3 Patterns (11–17 years, Male, 9–7 Gup)

  • Reuben Bramhall – 2nd place, S.17 Sparring (11–13 years, Male, 9–5 Gup, 155.1–170.0cm)

  • Flynn Lane-Griffin – 2nd place, P.7 Patterns (11–17 years, Male, 6–5 Gup)

  • Flynn Lane-Griffin – 2nd place, S.16 Sparring (11–14 years, Male, 9–5 Gup, 145.1–155.0cm)

  • Sebastian Hodgetts – 2nd place, P.11 Patterns (11–17 years, Male, 4–3 Gup)

  • Ben Starkey – 2nd place, S.24 Sparring (11–13 years, Male, 4–1 Gup, +165.1cm)


🥉 Bronze Medals

  • Sebastian Hodgetts – 3rd place, S.35 Sparring (14–17 years, Male, 4–1 Gup, 57.1–76.0kg)

  • Ben Starkey – 3rd place, P.11 Patterns (11–17 years, Male, 4–3 Gup)

  • Noah Walayat – 3rd place, S.15 Sparring (11–13 years, Male, 9–5 Gup, –145.0cm)


Special mention to Mike Fudger who ran the Alcester 10k ;)
