Worcestershire Martial Arts competitors delivered a fantastic set of performances at the English LTSI Taekwon-Do Open Championships, held on Sunday 5th October 2025. The event brought together hundreds of talented martial artists from across the country, and our team once again proved their dedication, skill, and spirit on the mats.

Ben Starkey – Bronze in Patterns and Gold in Sparring
Sebastian Hodgetts – Gold in Patterns
Oscar Farmer – Gold in Sparring & Gold in Pattern
Adam Monks – Bronze in Patterns
Róis Perkins – Bronze in Sparring
Flynn Lane-Griffin – Gold in Sparring
Theo Farmer – Silver in Patterns and Silver in Sparring
These results reflect the hard work and commitment shown by every member of the team, both in their training sessions and on competition day. From sharp technical performances to strong tactical sparring rounds, each athlete represented Worcestershire Martial Arts with professionalism and determination.

Head Instructor Ms Sally Gleaves VI said:
“I’m incredibly proud of the team’s performances and sportsmanship throughout the day. Every competitor gave their best effort, supported one another, and showcased the true spirit of Taekwon-Do. Their continued growth and discipline are a credit to our club.”

With the competition season continuing, our focus now shifts to preparation for the T-UK British Championships later this year. The team will be refining techniques, developing ring strategy, and building on the momentum from this excellent set of results.
