The journey to black belt is never easy – and nor should it be. It’s a path that demands consistency, resilience, and courage, and in May 2025, a group of our dedicated students stepped up to prove they had what it takes.
We’re proud to share the results of our May 2025 Black Belt Grading, where each candidate showcased outstanding skill, discipline, and mental toughness.
🎉 Promotions:
Amy Pullen – 3rd Dan
Amy continues to shine as a senior member of our club. Her focus, sharp execution, and leadership throughout her preparation were exceptional. This promotion to 3rd Dan is a testament to her commitment to continuous improvement and her role as a mentor to others.
New 1st Dan Black Belts:
Mike Fudger
Valentin Vizitiu
Robert Vizitiu
Zaria Fudger
Rois Perkins
Each of these students brought their very best to the grading floor – pushing through nerves, fatigue, and pressure to earn their 1st Dan. It’s not just a belt; it’s the beginning of a new chapter in their martial arts journey.
💬 What It Means to Be a Black Belt
Black belt is not the end – it’s a sign that you’re ready to start again, with deeper understanding and responsibility. Our newest black belts now take on the role of leaders, role models, and representatives of our values both on and off the mats.
