Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Martial Arts

The course covers:

✔ Communication with participants & inclusive practice

✔ Planning & delivering engaging martial arts sessions with feedback on how to develop your coaching practice further

This courses involves registering onto the 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching (Sport & Physical Acticity) qualification, with the empasis on delivering Martial Arts.

Learners will be required to:

• Phase 1: Complete eLearning modules & tasks and fill in a physical portfolio, this will involve planning 4 linked and progressive martial arts sessions to be delivered in their own environment.

• Pase 2: Deliver 2 x 20 minute physical activity/martial art sessions.

Registration to the qualification is valid for a 2 year peiod. Therefore, learners could complete phase 1 initally and then progress onto phase 2 when appropriate. Re-assessment fees would be applicable if learners were deemed not yet competent in phase 2. The cost for this pathway is £180.

This qualification will be delivered using a remote blended learning model, you will learn the course material via electronic and online media (eLearning modules). One to one tutorials will be set up via Zoom to monitor progress. You will need a laptop or tablet with an updated browser such as Google Chrome to access the eLearning, it is not mobile compatible.

There will be two 20 minute assessments of coaching practice which can be arranged at either your own club (if local to Worcestershire) or will be conduected in a simulated environment during two assessment days at our Wocester Venue.

One to one coaching will be availble if needed, and all assessment and protfolio work will be marked and personal feedback will be given to each delegate.

All work will be completed in a handwritten portfolio which is submitted for assessment and verification once all the units are complete, the quicker you submit the tasks the sooner the qaulification can be assessed and certification signed off.

When payment has been cleared, you will recieve log in details for the eLearning and your tutor will contact you.
